Daily Usage Statistics Discrepancies

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Somewhere else…

Describe the Bug

The dashboard in Cursor - The AI Code Editor seems to show one set of numbers for line changes and tabs accepted while the Exported Raw Data csv shows different numbers. I’ve also tested against the Admin API, which seems to match the Raw Data Export.

Here is an example below of a single user:

The excel export and Admin API both show this data for a single user. Looking at 9/12/2025 - the numbers for tabs seemed very high which made me suspicious:

The analytics dashboard shows far fewer lines and tabs reported for the same date, and looking at tabs specifically - they are consistently lower than what is reported in the csv and API:

I want to be able to use the Admin API to report data that is accurate, but I have no way of knowing the source of truth. Is there a known bug? How do you recommend moving forward?

Steps to Reproduce

Use Admin API or Export Data csv to view daily usage data.

Use analytics dashboard in cursor.com to view daily usage data.

Compare numbers and see that that don’t match.

Expected Behavior

Daily usage statistics should match across all sources and be reliably accurate.
