For AI issues: which model did you use?

Deekseek R1 and V3.1

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. Let’s clarify both issues:

DeepSeek R1 not working in agent mode:

  • This is expected behavior. R1 is a reasoning model and it doesn’t support agent mode. You can still use R1 in regular chat, just without agent features.

DeepSeek V3.1 generating Chinese text:

  • This looks like a bug that was fixed before but seems to have come back. To help investigate, please share:
    • A screenshot showing the Chinese text that V3.1 is generating
    • The Request ID from when this happens (Chat menu → Copy Request ID)

Once we have these details, I can pass the issue to the team.

The bottom 2 folders where created by Deepseek.
