Hey there, everybody. I’m facing an issue with DeepSeek-r1-0528’s thinking mode in Cursor.
When I try to use it to modify my code, the model doesn’t actually apply the changes. It just sends the modified code in the chat instead of using Cursor’s editor features to directly update the code. This isn’t great for the workflow, and I don’t think it’s working as intended.
Steps to Reproduce
Trynna use DeepSeek-r1-0528 reasoning mode, to fix some issue in your project.
Expected Behavior
The model fix de code using cursor’s code editor.
Operating System
Windows 10/11
Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)
The last one version.
