DeepSeek-Reasoner does NOT work in Chat mode with the codebase.
In Chat mode, if I use it though without the codebase, it does work:

BTW, I am not yet “eligible” to upgrade to 0.45… I’m still on some LIFO queue or some pool or whatever…
We are unable to support custom LLM providers that do not conform to the OpenAI standard, but DeepSeek R1 is now available as a premium model inside Cursor itself, if that is helpful!
