Default Response Language Persists as English Despite Chinese Input
I’ve checked the forum and haven’t found duplicate issues regarding language settings.
The AI consistently responds in English regardless of the input language (Chinese/English). Users must explicitly request Chinese responses every time, even though:
Chinese is my primary system/browser language
There’s no apparent language preference setting in Cursor
The issue occurs across multiple conversation threads
Reproduction Steps
Open a new chat in Cursor
Ask a question in Chinese (e.g., “这个为什么instruction有值，而input没有值呢？他们分别是什么？”)
Observe response language → English
Add “用中文回答” to the query → Chinese response
Expected Behavior
Responses should automatically match:
Input language (Chinese input → Chinese response)
System language preference (Chinese)
Persistent user preference (Chinese)
