Hi!
I’ve been using Cursor for the past month and so far the experience has been great, but today I’ve noticed a weird thing.
I have two different computers and even in one of the computers I have 2 different OS installations (Windows and Linux). I have Cursor installed in the three systems, however, it seems the versions do not match.
On the laptop I use most, I was prompted a week or two ago about updating to the latest v0.45 version.
However, it seems my other computer still has v0.44 installed in both systems, I’ve tried to attempt to update using the command palette but so far, it hasn’t worked. I believe that Cursor updates are rolled out little by little, but it is a bit of a weird experience to have two different versions for the same Cursor account.
One of the “issues” I’ve encountered is that I had changed the .cursorrules in one of my repos to .cursor/rules, but after switching to my desktop computer, I have had to change it back to .cursorrules since in this computer cursor is still in v0.44.
I think it’d be great if updates were rolled out to accounts/organizations to avoid these problems.
If I’m wrong in any way, please let me know so I can update hahaha.
Again though, my experience so far has been really good, so kudos to the Cursor team!
