Difficult to know when agent & llm are done working on prompt?

Hey, this should work with multiple tabs. However, let us know if you encounter any issues.

Ok I’ll keep you guys posted. In case you hadn’t figured it out yet, I’m the squeaky wheel. I am holding out on upgrading to 1.5.x right now, as I’ve got some critical work that has to be done here, and I can’t quite afford to be beta testing a potentially unstable build. Once 1.5 reaches a stable release phase I’ll give it a try.

An enhancement to this, when you guys get the chance, would be to have the agent chime, probably with a different sound than for completed chats, when the agent REQUIRES user interaction. Say for deleting a file, or when running commands that are not in the allow list, etc.

I was updated to 1.5.5 today. Not entirely happy about the automatic update (should REALLY be an option, there is just too much that’s sketchy about 1.5.x right now that I can’t be on it.)

HOWEVER, I did notice that for commands that require user action, I am hearing chimes! So that is an improvement.

Strangely, when the agent finishes working on the prompt, its been inconsistent. A couple times I did see an OS toast. I don’t think I have seen one for every completion event. Further, I still don’t seem to be getting a chime at every completion event either. My music stopped earlier, though…and, I did actually hear SOMETHING when the chime at the end of work for a prompt should have played:

A slight hiss in the speakers, and a momentary faint ā€œpopā€ or ā€œcrackleā€ of the speakers.

I wonder, if some kind of sound is TRYING to play, but the sound is somehow being suppressed? I don’t think an extension is causing this. Is it possible that somehow the OS, is suppressing teh chime that should be playing at the end of work for each prompt?

Well, very glad to see that there is a chime playing when user interaction is required. That is extremely welcome! I’ve had chats time out completely before, as I didn’t know they needed user interaction. I am never missing them now. Many thanks!
