Do 'prompts' work with MCP?

I’m working through a basic hello world (note-taking) MCP.

I run it locally and I can use the one tool available, which is create_note.
That is here. It shows up in Cursor when I tell the agent to “create a note to eat dinner”.

However, there is also a prompt available. This doesn’t seem to be available in Cursor. That is in code here.

Any ideas on this?

Yes!

They do:

Update the MCP and throw a widget on it (I have an MCP widget canvas I just started to test exactly what you asked:

ill throw any graph metrics on it through prompts:

Neat dashboard , i see you are just yoloing it . lol

yeah im trying to figure out the smoothest way to yolo – but context kills every time - he already died between the time I posted that and now – this error is weird… we were iterating in d;\cursor\mcp\widget\

and he kept Fn up the CSS and then broke the site. So I said lets try a mobile focused site, pick a language and tools and implement.

What was weird is it kept not working and then I noticed he switched workding dir to cursor\mcp-tricorder…

He jumpt up THREE dirs to start…

I gave up im eating ice cream.
