Do you guys think Cursor should offer discounted packages?

I’m a Vibe coder, and my monthly usage costs around $100. Some of you probably spend even more. I know Cursor has to pay high costs to the big model providers (like Gemini, Claude, etc.), but your usage volume is massive—maybe even 100 billion tokens a month. Their company should be able to offer you some discounts, right?

Right now, whether we buy 500 Quick or 5000 Quick, the price is the same. Could Cursor give us heavy users—those with high demand and high usage—a discount, like 10% off?

Even though there are more and more AI editors now and the competition is getting fiercer, I still prefer Cursor.

For the same output you normally would pay thousands of dollars for a real developer.

So 100 is still a joke. Even when you took it in relation to other “editors” used by no-code bros. Lovable, bold.new, anthropic coder are much more expensive then cursor.

So i don’t think there is a need for discounts. In my opinion it is to cheap. I would prefer packages with higher prices and better output quality.

yep, this price is really good, I’m spending 20U$S a day for stuff that a dev would charge me hundreds, so worth defo worth

Yes, compared to Cline and others, Cursor is still affordable and convenient. It’s just that people’s expectations might have been too high, leading to all kinds of complaints. Personally, I feel that among other editors, Cursor is truly my favorite.

I’d encourage you to get better at coding instead of wasting money on “vibe coding”. You can easily bring down costs + improve outputs by order of magnitudes. The next few years will be dominated by those who know coding + use AI tools if one factors in costs involved (money + time + effort).

Thank you for your advice.

This is exactly the part I’m focusing on right now—AI dialogue, breaking down problems, and clear communication, which I’ve already become quite skilled at. Additionally, I’m currently proficient in using IDEs like Android Studio and JetBrains IDEs. However, I know I can’t understand all the code because I’m not from the computer science field. I’m still learning the basics. (Recently, learning about MCP servers really stumped me—AI couldn’t help because MCP is too new, and the AI doesn’t know about it. I can only slowly research and look for tutorials…)

Hey I understand and appreciate the effort you’re putting in. It will all pay off. Keep learning and if you need a primer on web dev (free and high quality), you could try these two paths:
