Does Cursor 2.2 disable custom MiniMax-M2 model?

Updating to Cursor 2.2 then MiniMax-M2 model can not be used anymore.

Can someone tell why？

Have you followed the instructions here? If it’s not working, what happens when you try?

I’ve followed it, and the only error I get from the provider is that I have no credit. :slight_smile: But they definitely get the request!

Hi Colin,

I’ve faced a similar issue where it stopped working around 2:30AM (UK) on 1 Jan 2026 and since then it’s been coming back with the below.

MiniMax.M2.1 using Coding Plan. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, though I must say that it was around the time I updated Cursor.

Hey @SammPatchiKa

Feel free to raise a new thread with:

  • Your Request ID (it’s a tight window, but if you click “Copy Request …” it should copy your Request ID
  • Confirmation that other models aren’t affected
