I’ve been having issues with the AI editing tool over the past few days. Whenever I submit a prompt—even for small edits—the tool gets stuck in a loading state and eventually times out after a few minutes. This happens repeatedly, usually around 5 times per prompt.

Sometimes, I need to reprompt with “continue,” and occasionally that resolves the issue, but it’s inconsistent. Even paid prompts are affected, and no changes are applied to the file before the timeout.

Has anyone else experienced this, or is there a known fix?

Steps to Reproduce

How to reproduce:

Open a file in the AI editing tool.
Submit a prompt for a minor edit.
Observe that the tool often gets stuck in a loading state.
Wait a few minutes, and it may time out without making any changes.
Optionally, try reprompting with “continue” — it sometimes works, but not always.

Windows 10/11

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, which model are you using? Does this also happen in new chats?

I think I solved it, it’s working well now. I just switched to HTTP/2 from HTTP/1.1

But when im on HTTP-1.1, I tried it on different models like gpt-5 and claude-4-sonnet. It also happens on new chats but after a few successful prompts. But it does work now, so far im not experiencing any editing tool timeouts.
