It’s been a few days since I upgraded the IDE, and I simply cannot exit full screen. Not sure how else to describe it… there’s normally 3 buttons:
Red - close window
Yellow - minimize
Green - full screen / windowed
Yellow and green are always disabled.
I’ve tried unplugging all monitors, closing and reopening Cursor, etc.
Once I go full screen, I cannot escape without closing and reopening the app.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Could you send a screenshot? Maybe you’re in Zen Mode?
(Ctrl + Shift + P => “View: Toggle Zen Mode”)

Here is a screenshot
I have toggled zen mode a few times and it does not go away. You can see that only the red button is enabled. The only way to resize this window or minimize is to close the whole app and reopen it.
Edit: Just updated Cursor to the latest version. Still the same bug. Here is the version details

Let us know if there’s anything else we can share to help you reproduce the bug.
For what it’s worth, it’s possible to go into the very top menu and exit full screen mode through that menu. It’s just not possible to do it via those three buttons.

Same issue here when I enter full screen mode on a cursor window. Macbook Air M2.
Using the latest version and this is still quite an annoying issue.

This is a known Electron bug.
For now, the solve is “cmd+shift+p > View: Toggle Full Screen”
Our next update has the patch.
