In VSCode I used to use the Shift-Command-L to “Select all occurrences of current selection”.
When I try to do the same in Cursor the Chat is opened.
How can I “Select all occurrences of current selection” in Cursor?
Hit Ctrl Shift P
> type Open Keyboard Shortcuts
.
But it doesn’t seem like you can reassign it.
Maybe come up with another keybind?
Be careful with what you change in these settings. I messed up mine once.
I have the same issue and despite changing the keybindings it doesn’t seem to register the change, this is a really useful and common keybinding so surprised it’s overwritten it.
It would be useful for cursor to ask me first what keybinding I’d like to open the chat with when I load it for the first time.
Hi to fix, please type Command Shift P
→ Open Keyboard Shortcuts
and search for Command Shift L
. The latest cursor version got this stupid keybinding overwrite the default “select all occurance” option. Just remove it as this to solve.
I think it’s irresponsible for arbitrarily implant different ide’s keybinding conventions into cursor.Command+Shift+L
is one of my most used shortcuts.
it is a cursor issue just like this, even you change the keybinding, in some cases the shift+cmd+l
still works
