'Fast" has become slower?

Hey @Ronnie_O, thanks for the report.

I checked how your Grok 4.6 Fast and Composer 2.5 Fast requests have been served over the last few days. Right now they are running at the normal Fast speed, and overall Fast has not been slowed down.

There was one real slow patch: on Thursday evening, one of the serving clusters behind Grok 4.6 Fast was much slower than usual for a few hours. That has since been resolved.

One thing that will make a difference for you: many of your chats are very large (150k+ tokens of context per message), and at that size the wait before the first token gets noticeably longer, even on Fast. Starting a new chat when a conversation gets long, or after a break of more than a few minutes, will keep responses snappy.

If you hit a specific response that feels slow, hover over it, copy the Request ID and post it here with the time, and I can look at exactly what happened to that one.
