Feature Suggestion: Progress Summary After Each Request

Feature request for product/service

Chat

Describe the request

I added this rule to my Cursor:

After completing a user request, Cursor could automatically display:
1. What was achieved — which parts of the request were fulfilled.
2. What’s still missing — which parts are incomplete.
3. Progress summary — percentage done vs. still open.

This would make it easier for users to track progress, see gaps immediately, and clarify follow-ups—without having to ask Cursor, “Is really everything done?” like a five-year-old trying to avoid finishing their homework.

A progress summary like this would cut straight to the point—no fluff, just:

:white_check_mark: Done
:warning: Missing
:bar_chart: % completed

It could save a ton of back-and-forth and make it feel like the AI is actually on the same page as you. Plus, telling from my own perspective, it could save 25–75% of API requests.

Operating System (if it applies)

Windows 10/11
