Show Us What You Are Working On, What Is In Progress, and What Is Coming Next

Hello to the wonderful Cursor team,

I truly enjoy using Cursor and it has become part of my daily workflow. In fact, I am using it right now as I write this post.

One thing I feel is really missing in the forum not in the product itself is better communication with users about the status of their posts. For example, when I report a bug, I would love to know:

  • Has it been reviewed by the team?
  • Was it accepted or rejected?
  • Will it be addressed?
  • Is it already being worked on?
  • Will it be fixed in the next release?

The same applies to feature requests. At the moment, it is hard to know whether posting an idea is making a difference or if it might simply go unnoticed. There is no indication that a team member has read it, and no status updates at all.

Today I visited the “****” website and really enjoyed seeing how they clearly show which requests have been completed, which are in progress, and which are planned. I am confident that Cursor could do something even better. It would make subscribers feel that they are truly communicating with real people rather than speaking into a void.

I would be very happy to see such a feature added to the forum.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and for creating such a great product.
