Fedora 42 Cursor AppImage has a tiny mouse cursor

Hi, I tried giving cursor a spin again after it wasn’t really working for me for a while. However, the latest AppImage (1.4.5) on Fedora 42 has an extremely tiny mouse cursor when I hover over the application. I am aware of Wayland/XOrg stuff etc, but the weird thing is that this does not occur when using either VSCode or Windsurf, which are as far as UI is concerned, practically the same product. Is there something specific you guys do which could cause this? Any quick fixes?

Steps to Reproduce

Download Cursor AppImage 1.4.5 and install on Fedora 42

Expected Behavior

Cursor works with a normally sized mouse pointer

Please check with the RPM version and let us know if this issue still persists!

This definitely solves the issue. Immediately adding a tiny feature request. Would it be possible to add a .desktop file so I don’t have to launch it from terminal each time? Thanks for this!

Also, I keep getting an “Update available“ notification, but there is nothing listed on dnf update and if I download the rpm manually it is still the same version I installed
