Feedback about UI changes in latest update

I love Cursor a think it’s a very useful tool and for the most part well-made. But I have some constructive feedback.

Firstly, did you remove the option to send chat with codebase? This feature was extremely useful, and I do not understand how to add this context now, nor why this was changed.

Secondly, I am starting to get frustrated with the continued changes in the UI, especially considering it doesn’t really ever seem to get better than the last version, just different, forcing your customers to relearn the UI for seemingly no reason. Every time when I finally get used to a change you made, you seem to revert or change it again for no apparent reason. Please stop it. Don’t fix what is not broken, you’re just alienating your customer base.

Hey, we’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the new interface. We aimed to simplify it for easier use, but not everyone appreciated the changes. We always listen to user feedback and might make some improvements in the future. Regarding the codebase, you can use the @codabase function, it works the same as cmd/ctrl + enter.
