Anyone else having trouble with the file edit tool not working with the composer? Was working fine for weeks and then this afternoon it starting being hit or miss and now it’s not working at all. My hard limit is not hit and the app is up to date. Any ideas on how to fix this? TIA!

yea it was gettnig worse then hasnt worked at all last 3 or 4 days I think maybe a week its comply off now nothing can get edited
Last few days I get “apologize for the difficulty with the edit_file tool. Let me try a different approach.” - a lot - to the point of being often unusable. Would like to understand what it’s having trouble with.
edit: I see the issue now. The edit_file tool is having trouble with the large file size and complex changes.

YES! ALL THE TIME. Getting this all the time and it is not reporting failure back but eventually it just dumps out some fragments of code and says here go make the changes yourself. This is not what I signed up for and defeats the purpose of the tool when the primary function of the tool does not work. I mine as well copy and paste from chatgpt for free.
EXAMPLE:
unfortunately in most of my examples when it knows it failed several times and just says you go do it - cursor is not acknowledging the failure of its edit_tool and I get charged.
