File explorer automaticall revealed when the IDE is opened

Steps to Reproduce

Open IDE, hide file exploer, close IDE and re-open. The explorer is auto revealed.

Expected Behavior

Provide a setting to auto reveal/hide the sidebar or respect the layout when IDE re-opened. I hardly use the file explorer and auto revealing it is annoying.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known regression, and the team is aware. The primary sidebar currently always opens on startup instead of remembering its previous state.

Let me know if you notice any other weirdness with layout persistence.
