Describe the Bug

typing @ then file name hangs a TON of the time when tagging file and especially when typing fast. Maybe on big projects. The whole ide hangs forever and window is not responding message appears after a while.

Steps to Reproduce

open a large project. Type @ then type name of the file quick. Move with arrows inside the menu that appears to select the file and press enter. Most of the time somewhere a long the process starting after typing the @ cursor will completely hang.

Thanks for the report. Does the IDE hang only during @ file tagging, or do you experience freezes in other scenarios too?
If it does freeze in other scenarios, can you test with extensions disabled? Run cursor --disable-extensions from the command line

-only file tagging. Others outside the tagging do happen but not as often, but the file tagging happens consistently even on a fresh start of cursor. Like I restarted 4 times in arrow doing the same sequence.
it’s honestly a combination of long conversations and multiple agents with a lot of edits and the file tagging.

I tried briefly in the no extension mode, didn’t have my conversations at that moment, the problem didn’t occur on a fresh start same codebase same file tagged.
