I often hit it by mistake instead of ctrl+v

can also open it again in the top menu

Thanks for reporting this! It seems the “Folders” view is hidden. Let’s try these steps:

Quick fixes:

1. Go to View → Open View… → Folders
   • This should open your folders.

If that doesn’t work:

1. Open Command Palette: CMD+Shift+P.
2. Type and run: View: Reset View Locations.
3. Restart Cursor.
