Hey everyone!
I’m Colin. I joined Cursor this month as a Community Support Engineer, and I’ll be spending a lot of time here on the forums. Some of you may have already seen me responding to your questions.
I am trying to catch up to @condor, @sanjeed5, and @deanrie, who are doing a tremendous job.
Today, we rolled out some changes to how the forum is organized. Our goal is to make it easier to find the right place for your posts and increase discoverability.
Here’s the short version:
- Support is now the home for getting help, with Bug Reports and Help underneath
- Ideas brings together Feature Requests and Feedback under one roof
- Showcase is split into Built with Cursor (projects you built with Cursor) and Built for Cursor (extensions, MCP servers, tools)
- Guides is what we originally wanted the “How to” section to be, but that mostly became a place for people to ask questions. We’ve pulled out the true guides/tutorials from that section and put them in this category.
- Account & Billing is a new locked category that points you to [email protected] for billing help. I do not doubt those questions will still find their way into other categories, but it’s worth a shot!
- Meta (you’re here!) is for discussing the forum itself
The best way to see the new structure is the categories page. We’re planning to make this the front page of the forum soon.
You might see some posts get recategorized over the next few days as we tidy things up.
If something about the new structure doesn’t make sense or you have suggestions, this is the place. Let me know what you think!
