Full improvement of Cursor

I believe this update might’ve been hasty due to the sudden 3.7 release, so a lot of bugs and issues weren’t put into full consideration.

I think the cursor team should get more testers, and fully test the features that are being rolled out in the updates so it doesn’t come with as much bugs and issues that we currently face at the moment.

There are various functionality and slow responses that currently hinders Cursor’s full potential.

Hopefully as these changes are made we can see a smoother rollout of newer features.

yes, there are several pain points that make Cursor barely usable

  • New models that were not tested properly and may need new custom system prompts from Cursor
  • IDE changes that are unclear
  • IDE changes that are undocumented
  • Unreliable tool calls
  • LLMs claiming they have no access to tools (like executing commands) even we list the commands in rules or in prompt.
  • inclusion of Cursor internal prompt parts into user chat.

  • the list goes on, and those are just items that occured since last week.
