I just want to openly express my fear for cursor updates.
I have been using cursor for almost a year now and I have the feeling it is getting worse and worse.
In the beginning there were few updates and I felt like every update was stable. Right now everytime I see an ‘update available’ I fear of hitting it, because I am affraid my whole day will be ruined again because something is not working.
The main issues started around 0.46 and ever since, every update introduces new bugs.
My request to the team is to please do more testing. Make sure at least all the basics are still working on a new update. The simple things. Like opening the chat using shortcut ctrl-shift-l and closing it again. That broke on the 1.3.5 update. Just the tiny things that can ruin my day of productivity.
I like Cursor and the idea of it, I’ve grown very fond of it, but if this continues like this, I will have to look for other options and move away from Cursor.
