Cursor updates destroyed my fun in building rn

First of all, I’m not a professional, I haven’t studied coding, and I don’t always understand everything perfectly.

Over a period of six months, I’ve grown to enjoy “vibecoding” more and more. Finally, I can create something that would otherwise have taken months.

I started with Cursor three months ago and was thrilled. Everything worked, and the only mistakes I made were because I was too lazy to describe it correctly. I was just happy.

It all started at the end of November. Update after update, OPUS was there and the joy was immense. At first, everything worked smoothly and even more updates came for Cursor, all of which were installed without a hitch.

But with each update, Cursor somehow destroyed itself. MCPs were gone, couldn’t connect anymore, the terminal was stuck and didn’t execute anything anymore, plan mode didn’t work, simple codes couldn’t be written, and you had to ask the agent several times to perform simple tasks.

At first, I thought it was my fault, but after seeing the forum here, I realize that it’s a general problem that’s getting bigger and bigger, as if Cursor were eating itself and destroying itself.

I hope this can be solved because I enjoy it a lot, but I pay $200 and struggle to get simple updates to my tools.
