Cursor Slow and Breaking Code After Update: Need Support!

Hello everyone,

My apologies for the long text…

I discovered Cursor earlier this year and found it fantastic. I used it extensively during January and early February, and I subscribed.

However, after updating the version a few days ago, Cursor stopped working correctly. It seems to analyze what needs to be done correctly, but when it comes to applying it, it gets stuck for minutes and minutes, and eventually breaks the code.

I’ve already searched for a solution here on the forum and on Google, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, and I’ve even done a fresh installation on another computer, but I’ve had the same problem.

I have a few questions:

  • Has this happened only to me, or has it happened to everyone?
  • Is there a way to completely clear all my account data so I can start over?
  • How can I completely uninstall the application from my system?
  • Does anyone have a solution for this, because I haven’t seen the Cursor team address this despite the dozens of complaints on the forum recently?"

Thanks to all.

No , me too many times. its really annoying. especially when you really start getting somewhere and its all gone. in one instance i had the project working really well, i told the bot to make a backup. as it runs a script to so this regularly. but it somehow lost it. i spent weeks getting it to this point. i have given up and started another project. slights less ambitious and its still making ■■■■ ups. I am at a loss myself on what to do next. i tried winds*** and ■■■■ just as bad.
