Gemini 2.5 Pro sometimes repeats itself forever, specifically, often during the last few paragraphs of the message. It will seemingly go on forever until manually stopped by the user.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use Gemini 2.5 Pro often
  2. Eventually encounter this issue randomly

Hey, thanks for the report. I’ve encountered this myself. It seems to happen when the model starts hallucinating and gets stuck in a loop.

This even happened to me in Google AI Studio during the early stages of rolling out this model, so it’s best to start a new chat as often as possible.

This issue is with the Gemini model itself, not Cursor, as it is still in the experimental stage.
