Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

hi @Suvoo and thank you for posting the detailed report.

Does this also happen on a new chat thread?

Could you please share a Request ID with privacy disabled for analysis by Cursor team as this allows to check details.

This happens on a new thread as well, but it says “connection failed” if I use Gemini 2.5 pro.

It works normally (expected behavior) if I use Auto mode.

Request id for original issue : 61757c56-fe1e-4ee7-ae10-f085bd573136
Request if for new thread (with connection issue) : 68fc8d76-acc3-422e-8606-5c9b4a6a73d0

Thanks, appreciate the additional checks.

Do you have by any chance an MCP active or API Key?

No, I use only the in-house models, no MCP or API. Most of the cases I use Auto but switch to reasoning for some tasks

Great, there are model call improvements in progress at the moment, but I have logged your report as well so it can be checked.
