Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Here’s a screenshot of the requests showing that other models work besides Gemini. It’s been happening for weeks now.

Hey @travisc!

Gemini 3 Flash/Pro have been working pretty consistently for me. I wonder if there’s something else going on in your environment that is causing the issue.

I took a look at the Request IDs you provided – can you try turning off any MCP servers you have turned on in Cursor Settings > Tools & MCP? Let me know if that makes Gemini 3 Flash, for example, start working in a new chat.

Oh wow, thanks @Colin ! I only had one MCP server enabled (Craft Connect Craft to Other MCP Clients with MCP ) and turning that off made Gemini work. That’s so weird since all the other models worked with that MCP on.

Thanks @travisc

I’m not sure if that’s on us or on them. I’ll dig into it more!

It looks like Cursor could do a better job catching this error and not showing a model connection error, and I’ve filed a bug for this!

+1 still happening

@hmeng @Ala_Ben_Aicha – this particular ticket (for a better error message) is still open on our side. Can you confirm you’re also using the Craft MCP server?

I’m not using Craft MCP Server, here is what I’m using: postman, n8n, notion and sequential thinking MCP servers.

(Edit: I just disabled Postman MCP server, and Gemini 3 Flash Worked now, I kept all other mcp servers active)

No MCPs on my end, was just using chat @Colin

If you’d like to dig into this further, I’d suggest that you create new threads with Request IDs!
