Generate Commit Message using ctrl + shift + p is resulting in error

Command ‘Generate Commit Message’ resulted in an error
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘toString’)

Also, is there any way to use conventional commit message using cursor.

At the moment, this doesn’t work, but I hope it will be implemented soon.

Same error. This would be a really useful feature!

Hey, we added a button for that, try it.

I want to automate my commits for which ctrl + ship + p or cursor.generateCommitMessage should work. This is not working which is creating problem.

Thank you.

It will be fixed.

The button works but why does it work via the button but not via the command palette? Is the intended functionality between these 2 going to be different?

No, it’s the same thing. It will be fixed in the next release.
