I am encountering connection failed whenever I am using hotspot from my iPhone (hotspot from android works fine). Can someone help me with this issue as due to some reason my wifi will not be available for sometime.

Hey, it’s possible iOS hotspots do not support HTTP/2, which is essential for streaming the AI response back into Cursor.
Can you try to disable HTTP/2 in your settings (not Cursor settings, just the normal preferences like VSCode has) and see if that resolves it?
