Starting using Cursor yesterday, cant even imagine how awesome it would be without consantly breaking code trough timeouts
can anyone explain to me, why there are tool time limits anyway ? is it a sort of health indicator to prevent a freeze status ? i am happy to wait for it using all the tools it needs over not getting to the goal in shorter time.
I have the same issue. Between the crashes, removal of @Codebase, and now almost all of my chats timeout, I cannot work. I asked my chat where the 5000ms timeout comes from and it says it is a limit set by the “tool”; i.e. Cursor. It appears Cursor may be throttling usage; ouch.
FWIW, I followed some advice throughout the forums; completely close the folder, remove the chat session, close the app with no folder open. And, for me, performance is back. And I can’t believe it, the @Codebase showed back up? Anyway, perhaps these work-arounds can work for other folks as well. All is not lost; lol.
