GLM 4.5 and Qwen3-Coder

Hey everyone,

What if Cursor made GLM 4.5 and Qwen3-Coder available for us? I’ve been looking into it, and the pricing per million tokens isn’t expensive. I believe most of the community would appreciate having access to them.

There’s an open request for this with a lot of votes you’d better join there.

You guys in Cursor must be very aware by now of how pricing affects us users/developers. I believe it’s in your best interest to make the most advanced open source models readily available. You must also know how good open source models are becoming and how cheap they are. I really like Cursor, but I’m being forced to look for alternatives. When I look at the available models, I see a myriad of high token-consuming options, and very few open source models. I see so much potential for Cursor, but your business model would only make sense if you rely more on open source. Just imagine what users could do by having a top orchestrating model directing several low-cost agents. For the time being, I’m cancelling my subscription and will renew it when/if Qwen 3 and GLM 4.5 are fully integrated.

David, you’re right… Cursor must be aware of that, mainly because it’s good for them (these models are very cheap and also highly productive).

It would be great if Cursor focused not only on the expensive models but also on these cheaper ones, as they perform very well. I hope they’ll see our posts.
