"Go Back" is visiting many spurious locations

Hello, thanks for Cursor!

I’m seeing behavior that I think is a bug: “Go Back” is visiting locations that I did not visit. To reproduce (at my end):

  1. Issue “Go To Definition”
  2. Issue “Go Back”

I expect “Go Back” to go straight back to where I was. But what I have been finding with recent Cursor is that it visits a sequence of other locations, before eventually getting back to where I was.

This has started happening recently, I would say in the last month.

Hey,

I can’t seem to reproduce this on my end.
Do you have a reproducible example you could screen record?

OK, thanks, I’ll have to investigate at my end.
