"Go to definition" loads forever

Hello,

In Cursor if I right-click on a Typescript symbol and then “Go to definition” it just loads forever (sometimes restarting the editor helps, but not always)
In VSCode it goes instantly.

And if I force open the references UI in Cursor, I get this:

With years of VSCode I’ve never seen this blank rectangle.

Cursor and VSCode running side-by-side, with the same configs and same extensions (Although VSCode is 3 minor versions ahead)

Same thing for me. Everything around typescript is about equally broken.

Started happening a few days ago, and came here to search for answers, yet it seems more people are struggling with similar issues.
