[image] When using Grok 4.5 in Plan Mode, the model sometimes writes out its clarifying questions (like “which option do you want, A, B, or C”) directly as plain text in the chat window, instead of using Cursor’s built in question prompt UI (the one with selectable options).

Please get this fixed ASAP, it makes Grok 4.5 nearly useless for planning during it’s prime promotional window with the discounted usage.

Grok sucks, please bring back Composer

Is there an ETA for the fix? Grok is barely usable without this feature.

We’re still evaluating whether we can bring AskQuestion to Grok 4.5. During training, we found that the model often overuses this tool, and we’ve been exploring ways to get the behavior right. If we can’t resolve this in Grok 4.5 (and we’re still working on it) it will be addressed in a future model…
