I didn’t realise that Grok 4.7 had a separate quota from Cursor Grok 4.6, so I burned through all my monthly usage. I still have 12 days until my plan renews and now I’m stuck without Cursor.
Hey @1Steve, thanks for flagging this. I checked today’s usage on your account, and every Grok 4.7 request was counted against Cursor Models. None of it was counted against Other Models or on-demand usage.
The 8% under Other Models comes from the Claude Opus 4.8, GLM 5.2 Max, and Muse Spark 1.3 Max usage shown in your screenshot. The Usage page groups activity by model name, while the Spending page groups it by allowance pool, which makes the two views difficult to compare directly.
Grok 4.7, Grok 4.6, Grok 4.5, and Composer 2.5 all use the Cursor Models pool: Usage and limits | Cursor Docs There is nothing you need to change when using Grok 4.7.
Hey @Uta, I checked your current billing cycle. Grok 4.7 does not have a separate quota.
Your Cursor Models pool had already reached 100% before your first Grok 4.7 request on September 21, primarily from Grok 4.6 and Cursor Router usage. Once Cursor Models is exhausted, additional usage from Grok 4.7, Grok 4.6, and other Cursor Models draws from the remaining Other Models allowance. That is what happened here, and both pools are now exhausted.
To continue using Agent before your October 3 reset, you can enable on-demand usage with a spending limit or upgrade your plan. Otherwise, your included usage will reset automatically on October 3. You can find more about how the two pools work here: Usage and limits | Cursor Docs
