What happened: On Oct 14, 2026 at ~7:56 AM ET our Chief of Staff bot agreed to move email filters after ~10 AM and ping our Tech Support bot when live. It never did the work or sent the ping. A non-urgent reminder at 11:40 AM was only held for its “next turn”. At 12:37 PM nothing had happened and we had to send an urgent message to wake it.
Impact: multi-bot teams rely on handoffs between bots; a dropped commitment breaks the chain silently and the user has to notice it.
Also filed via in-app feedback.

Steps to Reproduce
Ask a bot (Chief of Staff) to do a task later (e.g. move email filters after ~10 AM) and ping another bot (Tech Support) when live.
Bot agrees, then ends its turn without scheduling a follow-up.
Send a non-urgent reminder: it is only held for the bot’s “next turn”.
Nothing happens until an urgent message wakes it.
Expected Behavior
When a bot says “I’ll do X later”, it should keep that commitment (auto-schedule a follow-up/reminder), or the app should show pending commitments so they don’t silently drop.
Hey @Capital_EyeMotors, thanks for the report and the exact times, they matched what we see on our side.
You’re right about what happened. When Chief of Staff agreed to move the filters after 10 AM, it noted the task for itself, but it didn’t schedule anything to wake it up at that time. So it only got back to the task when something else woke it. This is a known issue we’re already tracking, and I’ve added your report to it, along with your idea of showing pending commitments in the app.
The 11:40 reminder is a separate piece. Non-urgent messages between bots don’t wake the other bot. They’re handed over as background info at its next turn, so they aren’t treated as something to act on. Anything another bot needs to act on should be sent as urgent.
In the meantime, these should keep handoffs from dropping:
When you hand a bot something for later, ask it to set a one-time routine for that time, e.g. “Set a one-time routine for 10:15 AM today to move the email filters, then message Tech Support as urgent when they’re live.”
Add a line to Chief of Staff’s instructions: “Whenever you say you’ll do something later, create a one-time routine for it right away.”
Add a line to Tech Support’s instructions: “When you follow up on something you’re waiting on from another bot, send it as urgent.”
Let me know if a bot skips the routine even when you ask for one.
Thanks Kevin — that matches what we saw. We’ll use one-time routines for deferred handoffs, and Tech Support will send waiting follow-ups as urgent. We’ll report back if a bot skips a one-time routine after being asked to create one.
