Hi team (@mohitjain),
On Oct 23, 2026 around 17:34 Beijing time (09:34 UTC), my Grok Bot cloud computer was automatically restored from an old saved copy.
What happened:
- Files across /workspace were rewritten between 17:34 and 17:59 Beijing time. My OOTD project went back to early October (sets 73–77, reference images and rule files are gone), and /workspace/research was deleted entirely.
- Other project folders (csl-case, couple-rp, photo-restyle, brake-anatomy, my knowledge base) were also rewritten.
- One bot’s chat history also went back to early September, even though the help page says chats are stored outside the computer.
Support ticket: T-I23680. Sam confirmed it matches a known issue and passed it to a human on Oct 23, but there has been no reply since. I have NOT used Reset, Update or Recover.
Request: please restore my whole computer and all bots’ chat histories to the latest saved copy from before Oct 23 09:34 UTC. I’m happy to follow the same steps as in the Oct 8 thread (pause bots, copy files out, then switch back).
