Grok Bot computer: host service down since Oct 23, Reset failed

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

Since Oct 23, 2026, every browser action and Screenshot on my Grok Bot computer fails immediately with: “The box could not confirm that no saved credential is being filled into its browser, so this tool did not run. Retry in a few seconds.” Shell, files, connectors and routines still work.

Diagnostics:

  • /tmp/sand-supervisor/status.json: “hostRunning”: false, hostVersion 78042fa, gatewayDescriptorPresent: false
  • /tmp/sand-host.log is 0 bytes since Oct 23
  • /tmp/sand-copy-in-status.json: phase failed, outcome partial, reason partial-hydrate, “insufficient disk space for 505568957B restore (x2 required)”, 951 files not restored. Disk is now at 74% (34 GB free).
  • Reset on Nov 4 ended with “Reset failed… partial state”; the computer was not touched (uptime 9 days).

This looks identical to T-I21031 (Grok Bot computer: host service down since Oct 23, "saved credential" error, Reset does nothing (ticket T-I21031)), which was fixed by replacing the computer. My ticket T-I22695 was escalated to a human on Oct 27 with a 3-4 day estimate, and I’ve had no reply since, despite follow-ups on Oct 31 and Nov 4. I’m on a paid plan (229 EUR) and have been without the browser for 12 days. I’ve backed up my files, so please replace my bot computer.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Ask any bot to take a Screenshot or open a website: it fails immediately with “The box could not confirm that no saved credential is being filled into its browser, so this tool did not run.”
  2. Ask a bot to run “echo ok” in Shell: it works fine.
  3. Settings > Reset Bot’s Computer: ends with “Reset failed… partial state”, and the computer is unchanged (uptime keeps counting).
