I’m on Cursor Ultra, and my weekly limit resets Fri Nov 6, 2026 at 2:05 AM ET.
Right now, while I’m actively talking and working, the weekly usage meter under Usage at the bottom of the Grok Bot app keeps flipping in real time: 74%, then 77%, then 100% (capped), back to 77%, back to 100%, over and over. This started around 12:18 AM ET on Nov 1.
This is worrying because I can’t tell whether I’m nearing my cap, and I shouldn’t be. I track the weekly limit directly on my side, and it reads about 77.7% (77.4% at 12:18 AM, 77.7% at 12:21 AM), with the same reset time and no change to my billing or plan. There was no real spike in usage.
The weekly limit shouldn’t behave this way, and a false 100% reading makes my team stop all work. I’ve also emailed [email protected]. Please fix the false 100% reading.
Steps to Reproduce
Open the Grok Bot app and watch the weekly usage meter under Usage at the bottom while actively using it. It flips between about 77% and 100% repeatedly.
I’m experiencing the same issue. The bot indicates that my usage is at 24%, while the Settings page shows 48%. There seems to be a discrepancy between the two.
happened onme as well, couple hours ago it was around 50% and I didn’t do anything heavy, right now it said 100%, even in curser page it said 100% as well. though grokbot said it’s 50% when I asked it, and seems it keep working and didn’t reject my usage, so I guess it’s a bug on display.
yes. I just had the same thing happen to me! I was working away at 65-67% and all of a sudden it jumped to 100% on the usage chart. I even asked my agent about it said it was still at 65% and allowed me to keep going for a bit. But now it’s dead at 100%.
Judging from the other ppl’s reports experiencing the same thing, this does seem like there was some sort of system issue that occurred
Same here. My Grok Bot weekly usage was about 34% yesterday and showed 75% this morning (Nov 1), with the same Nov 5 reset. At first my Bot reported 37.3% while Settings showed 75%. After I fully quit and reopened the app, both showed about 76%, so for me it doesn’t look like only a display glitch.
I checked all my Bots. There are no hourly routines or busy triggers, just one daily routine and normal chat work, so nothing explains a jump of about 40% in one day.
I thought grokbot is an reliable tools, looks like it’s not. Degradation once awhile, slow in responses, now with this issue. I’m on ultra plan now, looks like it’s time to consider other tools.
Overnight, my Grok Bot weekly usage suddenly jumped from 34% to 73%, despite no user activity or scheduled routines running.
My exported usage CSV shows no recorded activity between 19:01 and 07:05. Even a simple conversation with my Primary Bot this morning appeared to consume another 2%, which is extremely unusual compared to my previous usage.
I’ve contacted support, but so far I’ve only received AI-generated responses without a clear explanation.
Given the similar reports here, this strongly suggests a widespread usage metering issue.
Cursor team, please investigate, provide an official explanation, and restore any incorrectly deducted usage.
Same here, Cursor Pro+ (legacy). My Grok Bot weekly usage was about 12–13% around 03:00–04:00 (UTC+3) on Nov 1. After sleeping, it showed 25% this morning, with the same Nov 7 reset. My exported usage CSV shows no significant activity after 05:25 (UTC+3), only a few tiny automation rows, and nothing that explains a ~12% jump. It looks like the same metering issue others are reporting.
