Describe the Bug
I have been using cursor for about a month and then I realized this is hanging out after long chats with the agent, the cursor team explained to me that this is a common bug (memory consumption, etc) currently in cursor and the work around is to start a new chat. Until here we are ok, but then I realized that if you keep to many chats in the chat history it also affects the performance until make Cursor unusable.
The work around I found to this was clearing all my cursor chat history and app settings by deleting the cursor config folder as some other users of this forum suggested. I donβt know but deleting them from the IDE directly did not seems to work, maybe they were to many chats. So, for know I am keeping in check how many chats I have in my history and deleting them manually to prevent the issue, but I found this very bothersome.
As a quick fix, I suggest you guys to add a feature limiting the number of chats that we can keep in the chat history. I think this functionality is not hard to get a very useful.
