Hard Limit Still Active Despite Refund

My classmate is having an issue where they can’t use Cursor despite their monthly usage limit resetting and receiving a refund for previous overages. Last month they exceeded their $20 limit and hit $21.09, but Anthropic refunded the $1.09 overage so their net cost is $0.00. However, even though the monthly limit has reset and they have a zero balance, their account is still restricted by the hard limit enforcement.

Hi! My classmate uses the Student Pro plan.

My classmate is subscribed to Cursor Pro, which includes $20/month of free usage-based pricing. his invoice shows he used $21.09, but you refunded $1.09 to keep the total within the $20 hard limit — thank you. However, the invoice still says “Amount due: $20.00” and “Amount paid: $0.00”, even though the $20 usage should be covered by the free monthly credit included in his Pro plan. Because of this, your system keeps trying to charge his card. Could you please update the invoice to reflect that the $20 credit was applied, mark it as paid, and stop further payment attempts? Thank you!
