I’ve noticed that during conversations, especially long ones, it can be hard to tell where the AI’s response begins after I send a prompt. Since Cursor scrolls down automatically as it generates the reply, I often lose track of where I left off.
In general, it’s also difficult to visually distinguish between my own comments and the AI’s answers. This can make it harder to follow the flow of the conversation or review past exchanges.
I’m not sure what the ideal solution is, but I wanted to flag this as a usability issue that impacts readability and navigation.
Totally feel the same way: Answers quickly move down the page, and I often lose track of the beginning. It would be very helpful if the start of each answer remained pinned at the top until I scroll past it.
the current best and easiest (yet sometimes buggy) soltuion is pressing into your chat box when its empty, then double tapping arrow key up and it jumps to your previous chat message immediatly
That way you can go through all your messages super quick
sadly once you start scrolling or clicking into the AI response it either brings you back to the bottom or to the top
