I’m looking for recommendations for a new laptop and would love your expert opinions. My goal is to find a device with an excellent price-performance ratio that will allow me to work smoothly with demanding applications.
I’ll primarily use it for:
Programming: using a cursor, tools like Docker, DBeaver, Virtualbox, and perhaps some other video games.
My priorities are performance and reliability, but I’m on a limited budget, so I can’t afford the most sophisticated models. I’m interested in knowing what combination of processor, RAM, and graphics card offers a good balance without spending a fortune.
I’d appreciate any opinions or suggestions on:
Specific models that you consider to be good value for money at this time.
Recommended minimum specifications so I don’t fall short (e.g., Intel Core i5 or i7? Ryzen 5 or 7? What type of GPU?).
