High Disk Writes Causing Lag

Describe the Bug

Every 10 seconds or so I experience incredibly high disk writes while cursor is seemingly doing nothing - No prompt being entered, no response being generated. The code base this occurs on is only around 450 files which are indexed.

Steps to Reproduce

Not sure.

Expected Behavior

Cursor will become completely unresponsive and sometimes offer to quit, reopen or wait.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

I see similar behavior without the disk load, but the same sluggishness. I have seen quite often the windows not responsive dialog too. How frequent is this issue without the disk for you?

Hey, we released a new update 1.3.7. Try updating and let me know if the issue persists.

So far so good.

I am still receiving high disk writes exactly like OP screenshot. Cursor has been slow and sluggish the last few days of using it. Intermittent freezing.

Updating to the current version solved this for me, worth a short for you as well I imagine.

Hope it works out,
Nick
