No matter how long I use Cursor, this error always appears. When will it be fixed?

only affecting 3.7 and 3.7 thinking. 3.5 working (for me). seems anthropic can’t deal with demand from cursor users.

I newly registered and still have 10 days to try it out. I originally wanted to pay for the pro version, but I didn’t think it would work at all. I made the same mistake as you.

Will this problem never end? I guess now we have to ask cursor when to do business even though we have paid for it.

I think we should demand either a product extension or a refund. Since we’re paying money for something that doesn’t work.

Either provide a proper service or refund our money. We don’t have to go through this. It has turned into a constant problem, not an occasional problem. I don’t have to deal with this. I will not ask you when I will work!

I originally thought the “High Load” message was Anthropic’s fault… but then I manually used Claude 3.7 API and realized it worked… so I emailed Cursor and they replied:

You’re right to ask for clarification. The high load notices you’re seeing are indeed related to Cursor’s system-wide capacity management, not just Claude’s API availability. When there’s high demand, our system queues requests for both Claude 3.7 and 3.5 to maintain stable performance - that’s why you’re seeing it for both models. Using your own API key wouldn’t bypass this as it’s our system managing the load, not Claude’s API limits.

So this is a cursor problem… not Claude/Anthropic

Not telling people that this is going to happen and then forcing them to buy pro is ridiculous! People want to use this service without interruption. We can never use it, it’s a terrible situation. They don’t even respond to the issue, the cursor team is just avoiding the situation.

We’re experiencing high demand for Claude 3.7 Sonnet right now. Please upgrade to Pro, or switch to the ‘default’ model, Claude 3.5 sonnet, another model, or try again in a few moments.

Not able to use 3.5 Sonnet as well.
