A heads up would be much appreciated before updating to a new version of cursor that will be changing keybindings. Especially when it is highjacking a commonly used keybinding that is standard in VSCode like selecting a whole line. I can’t even select a whole line of text in latest version. So then I have to find what changed and how to address it. Why don’t you pick alternative keybindings for these instead of highjacking commonly used standard keybindings?!?!
I think the difficulty is picking any easy shortcut that isnt used yet here or there. You can go to Preferences: Keyboard Shortcuts, search there for your specific key and change the occurence.
This is disrupting my workflow. I had to change 2 keybindings so far. If I have to do this every time there is update its going to get aggravating quickly. Maybe the devs should get feedback of the most commonly used keybindings before just picking whatever they feel like it should be? Maybe place them in the cursor settings section to be assigned by the user?
Yeah its understandable. Will pass the feedback along to the Cursor Team.
Hey, about placing Cursor shortcuts directly into Cursor settings, that’s a good idea, thanks. Also, could you share the shortcuts you often use?

I’m sure there are more I can’t think of at the moment. Maybe others could chime in.
