How do you edit or delete user rules?

Cannot delete or edit the new User Rules

I cannot edit or delete user rules I have created in the Settings->Rules This is probably a global issue. Ancillary to this issue, how does Cursor handle overlap of Project Rules with User Rules, Assume Project rules superceede similar or duplicate User Rules?

As mentioned here, one can’t edit or delete user rules.

I am having the same issue. I have gone so far as signing out and deleting globalStorage but they always re-sync and I can’t edit them.

I’m using 2.2.20 and was having the same problem until I realized there is actually a ellipsis menu but he dots are really close to the background color and small. I missed them several times before actually seeing them.

After updating to 2.4.7 this morning, the same issue also appeared. I can’t find a way to delete it, and I don’t know where these rules are actually stored.

Same issue here. Tried to look in the local DB, but only found a single rule in there, and the UI (and also AI agents) list 7 identical rules. All duplicates…

finally this was fixed in version 2.4.21!
and to edit, just click on it.
